Below are the slides for my presentation. I will discuss my progression from first year and how my design process has changed with the introduction of design blogs, experimenting, concept building and planning my work, generally getting into the graphic design scene and paying more attention to good design.
I will lead on to talk about a few pieces of my work and how my work has grown and developed, but also discussing the types of briefs that I enjoy. I will discuss how competitions briefs really interested me during responsive as I was given the freedom to explore ideas that I want to produce without any clients giving me instructions to change aspects of my design.
I also want to talk about the clients I have produced work for and how I want to work with clients further to progress relationships with them to understand what it will be like working in the industry once leaving the course.
Moving onto my self branding and how my promotional material was produced. Discussing my potato concept and how it was ran through my promotional material.
I then want to talk about aspects I want to carry on with in the future, working with collaboration briefs more as I feel I need to gain more skills with collaboration and get more experience with communication between a collaboration and how the design process should be completed. Also explaining how I enjoyed branding briefs and would like to do some more to gain more knowledge and understanding into what needs to be produced for a successful branding brief.
Finally discussing what I plan to do in summer, looking for work experience, completing more competition briefs, then working on my self branding and completing some self initiated briefs.
